Gasification is the process of converting solid biomass (Agri waste, Saw Dust, Coconut shell, Fronds) to gaseous fuel. The process involves partial pyrolysis, oxidation and reduction under sub-stoichiometric conditions. This generates producer gas, which contains H2, CO, CH4, CO2 and N2 that has versatile applications

  • Power Generation
  • Thermal
  • Combination of Thermal and Power
Gasifier based Plants for Power Generation and Thermal application are ideally suited for:

  • Aluminium Melting
  • Biscuit making furnace
  • Metal heat treatment
  • Crumb rubber preparation
  • Hot air generators
  • Fluidized bed driers
  • Rotary kiln
  • Captive power
  • IPP and grid linked power
  • Village electrification

Acclaim strongly recomends that all prospective Biomass Gasifier Energy clients integrate backwards with Energy Plantations. This ensures sustainability of the Biomass Gasifier project in the long run. Acclaim offers Energy Plantation solutions for all power plant capacities using a mix of Primary and Secondary crops. The Energy Plantation by itself is a profit center and the acreage could be as low as 125 per MW .

Organic wastes, such as human excreta and livestock dung, food and vegetable waste, and other decaying matter are biodegradable waste that can be treated by conventional methods like aeration. Compared to the aerobic method, the use of Anaerobic Digesters in processing these waste provides economic and environmental benefits.

Solar Thermal Technology design involves concentrating the Sun’s enormous thermal energy onto water (or any other fluid). The dish tracks the Sun automatically to ensure optimal performance. The output from the system is used for cooking, process heating and/or to run a steam-fired VAM to achieve the desired cooling/air conditioning needs.

Renewable, Green and clean energy projects implemented by Acclaim are entitled to benefits under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). Acclaim provides assistance to register the projects with UNFCCC for issuance of Certified Emission Reduction (CER), under the Kyoto Protocol. The CDM allows emission-reduction projects in developing countries to earn certified emission reduction (CER) credits, each equivalent to one tonne of CO2.
